For twenty-five years, Yeah Yeah Yeahs have built one of modern rock’s most loved catalogues, and Hidden In Pieces: Live at the Royal Albert Hall hears that history opened up in a beautifully intimate way. Across these performances, songs from every era are reshaped with strings, piano and double bass.
Recorded over two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, with additional performances from San Diego, Chicago, New York and Mexico City, it captures Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase presenting familiar favourites and newer highlights in a fresh light.
Conceived as part of the band’s Hidden In Pieces tour, and featuring arrangements by music director, arranger and conductor Jherek Bischoff, the set moves from “Maps”, “Gold Lion” and “Zero” to “Blacktop” and “Spitting Off the Edge of the World.”
