Yazz Ahmed’s album Polyhymnia celebrates female courage and creativity, inspired by the Greek Muse of music and dedicated to remarkable women like Rosa Parks and Malala Yousafzai. Commissioned by Tomorrow’s Warriors in 2015, it premiered at the Women of the World Festival and evolved to feature a wider range of collaborators. Contrasting her previous work La Saboteuse, this suite honours inspiring role models and aims to empower listeners to embrace their inner strength and potential.
