When Peggy Gou released her debut EP Art of War in 2016, she set career goals including playing Berlin’s Berghain and recording a DJ-Kicks mix—both of which she has now achieved. Working on her DJ-Kicks mix during a busy year marked by a Mixmag cover and acclaimed single It Makes You Forget, Gou crafted an 18-track journey reflecting her personal musical evolution. The mix, spanning disco, house, techno, and electro from 1983 onward, invites listeners into her world with tracks by Spacetime Continuum, Kyle Hall, Kode9, Aphex Twin, and more.
