Black Ark In Dub captures Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’s signature dub sound with deep, bass-heavy rhythms recorded at his Black Ark studio before its closure. Originally released in 1981, this rare album features spooky dub versions of tracks like ‘Jah Love Is Sweeter,’ ‘Ethiopia,’ and the exclusive Jah Shaka favourite ‘Guidance.’ The remastered CD adds Lackley Castell’s vocal cut of ‘Jah Love Is Sweeter’ and Black Ark Vol. 2, a more vocal-focused follow-up with extended dubs from artists like Caol Cole, Junior Byles, and Bunny Rugs.
