Trees in General: And the Larch originated from a 2020 EmotionWave charity telethon, where its psychedelic visuals and modular synth soundscape caught the attention of Castles in Space’s Colin Morrison. Inspired by a winter’s day in Dorset, the piece blends shifting light, weather, and landscapes into an immersive audiovisual journey. Released alongside the companion 7" Looking at Lifeforms for the Castles in Space Subscription Library, the clear vinyl edition features striking artwork and etching by Zeke Clough.
