This Is The Kit, led by Kate Stables (England-born, Paris-based), first gained attention with heavy BBC 6 Music airplay and two albums named in their Album of the Year lists. They've opened for The National, Iron & Wine, and others, sharing a warm, timeless indie folk sound. In North America, they’re regulars on Triple A radio, indie festivals, and NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert. Since 2010’s Wriggle Out the Restless, their momentum grew with 2015’s Bashed Out, produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner. Stables also contributed vocals to The National’s 2019 album I Am Easy To Find and toured with them.
