Thee Oh Sees evolve from John Dwyer’s noise-punk roots into a sprawling blend of psychedelic, garage, acid rock, and folk influences. Putrifiers II expands their sound beyond garage rock with spacey, ear-melting tracks, krautrock grooves, and delicate melodies revealing Dwyer’s softer side. Influenced by artists like Scott Walker and The Velvet Underground, the album features fuller, drier production with contributions from Chris Woodhouse and special guests on sax, trumpet, and viola.
