Locked Down and Stripped Back Volume Two features home-recorded, semi-acoustic versions of Wedding Present classics plus the previously unreleased track “That Would Only Happen In A Movie.” Born from the 2021 virtual edition of David Gedge’s At The Edge Of The Sea festival, the album includes guest appearances from past and present band members like Jon Stewart, Peter Solowka (accordion), Paul Dorrington, Terry de Castro, Melanie Howard (lead vocals on “At The Edge Of The Sea”), and Amelia Fletcher. Recorded remotely, the stripped-back arrangements reveal fresh dimensions of these beloved songs.
