The Waterboys' eighth studio album, Universal Hall (2003), is available on vinyl for the first time. Recorded in the basement of Findhorn’s spiritual community, the album is their most openly spiritual work. Mike Scott describes it as “eleven spiritual songs” reflecting his vision. Highlights include “Peace of Iona,” “The Christ In You,” and the title track, plus the Celtic-infused “I’ve Lived Here Before,” co-written with Liam O'Maonlai. The album also marks the return of fiddler Steve Wickham, absent since 1990’s Room To Roam.
