A Rock In The Weary Land is The Waterboys’ seventh studio album, originally released in 2000. Marking the band’s return after Mike Scott’s solo work, it features original members and new contributors. Praised by NME as “a masterpiece,” this Cooking Vinyl reissue is the album’s first on vinyl and includes the 2001 US edition’s expanded tracklist. The 2CD set adds 12 unreleased tracks, while the 2LP vinyl includes a 16-minute live version of “Savage Earth Heart.” Curated by Scott, the release features new artwork, unseen photos, a 28-page booklet, and limited edition sky blue vinyl.
