National Album Day returns on Saturday 17th October 2026 with this year’s theme celebrating music “Icons". Copies are limited and available to pre-order now.
The Farm’s 1991 Number One debut Spartacus is reissued for its 35th anniversary on exclusive red, white and green tri-colour vinyl, marking the first time the album has been released on colour vinyl. Featuring the Top 10 singles ‘All Together Now’ and ‘Groovy Train’, this edition includes new sleeve notes by author and former Farm manager Kevin Sampson.
Originally released independently on Produce Records, Spartacus blends the band’s influences from the Buzzcocks, The Clash and The Jam with dance and acid house grooves. Produced by Madness’ Graham “Suggs” McPherson, with additional production from Paul Heaton and Stan Cullimore and mixing by Terry Farley, the album became a defining release of the early-90s indie-dance scene and famously reached No.1 in the UK.
