46 years after their groundbreaking debut Damned Damned Damned, The Damned return with Darkadelic, their twelfth album. Blending punk roots with goth and genre-bending sounds, it features Captain Sensible’s standout guitar and David Vanian’s snarling vocals. Highlights include “The Invisible Man,” “You’re Gonna Realise,” and “Beware of the Clowns,” packed with horror and 60s London influences. The Damned are set to make 2023 Darkadelic.
