Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, a hard-bop legend and key figure in 60s-70s soul-jazz, performed one of his last shows in 1975 at Montreal’s In Concert Club. This 6-track set features the Grammy Hall of Fame hit "Mercy Mercy Mercy," with his brother Nat on trumpet. The quintet includes Cannonball (sax), Nat Adderley (trumpet), Michael Wolff (piano), Roy McCurdy (drums), and Walter Booker (bass). Originally released in 1977 and unavailable on vinyl for over 40 years, it returns pressed on 180-gram vinyl with liner notes and interviews by music historian Cary Ginell.
