Noregs Vaapen is the fifth album by Taake, often seen as one of their strongest releases.
It refines their core black metal sound while adding new elements like black’n’roll grooves, mellotron textures, and even a banjo passage. The album features key tracks such as “Nordbundet,” “Myr,” and “Orkan.”
Frontman Hoest handles most of the work, with support from live members and guest appearances including Nocturno Culto, Attila Csihar, and Demonaz.
