You Say I Romanticize is Sweeping Promises’ third album, following the breakout success of Hunger for a Way Out and the critically acclaimed Good Living is Coming for You. The album explores the darker side of outsider culture, focusing on characters marginalised by society who channel isolation into obsessive causes and creative expression.

Recorded with live drummer Spenser Gralla to capture the urgency of their shows, its visceral punk sound is matched by Lira Mondal’s intense vocal performances. Across the album, Sweeping Promises examine the line between artistic community, alienation and fanaticism.
