Steve Hillage, famed for his work with Gong, Khan, and the Canterbury scene, began his solo career in 1975. In January 1977, he toured the US supporting E.L.O., delivering two electrifying shows at the L.A. Forum on January 27 and 31 that captivated 30,000 fans—many experiencing him for the first time.
The set features songs from his debut Fish Rising and his 1976 UK Top 10 album L. These previously unreleased recordings come from Steve’s personal archives and include three bonus tracks from a March 26 encore at London’s Rainbow Theatre.
L.A. Forum 31.1.77 is presented in a digipack with a 16-page booklet of original photos, capturing a landmark live performance.
