Status Quo’s ninth studio album Blue for You celebrates its 50th anniversary with a 2LP reissue on translucent blue vinyl in gatefold packaging. Newly mastered by Andy Brook and Francis Rossi, this edition features the Top 10 singles ‘Rain’ and ‘Wild Side of Life’, plus ‘Mystery Song’, alongside demos, rarities and live recordings from 1975.
The set includes the non-album B-side ‘You Lost the Love’, single versions of ‘Mystery Song’ and ‘Wild Side of Life’, its B-side ‘All Through the Night’, and live tracks from Stoke appearing on vinyl for the first time. Also included are demos of ‘Wild Side of Life’ and ‘Honky Tonk Angel’, plus a brand new Q&A with Francis Rossi.
