Sports Team, one of Britain’s most exciting breakthrough bands, release their second album Gulp! via Island Records. The lead single, “R Entertainment,” debuted as Clara Amfo’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1. Following their 2020 Mercury Prize-nominated debut Deep Down Happy—which hit #2 UK and had the biggest vinyl sales for a British debut that year—Gulp! marks a bold new chapter.
“R Entertainment” critiques how human experience is commodified through endless social media scrolling and chaotic media consumption.
