Created during lockdown, Everything Was Beautiful sees J Spaceman playing 16 instruments across 11 studios and enlisting over 30 musicians, including choirs, string/brass sections, and his daughter Poppy. Born from solitary walks through a quiet London and challenging mix sessions, the album eventually emerged as one of Spiritualized’s most vibrant and "live"-sounding works since Live at the Albert Hall, echoing the grandeur of Ladies and Gentlemen, We Are Floating in Space.
