Requiem For Mankind is the final chapter in Sendelica's ambitious series exploring humanity's relationship with religion, mythology, ourselves and the planet we inhabit.
Beginning with And Man Created God (religion), followed by One Man's Man (the origins and future of humanity) and Man, Myth & Magic (our stories and beliefs), the project was originally intended as a trilogy. However, band leader Pete Bingham felt there were still unanswered questions—leading to this final instalment.
Featuring contributions from Santtu Laakso (Chaos) on keyboards and Calli on vocals, Requiem For Mankind delivers Sendelica's trademark blend of space rock, psychedelia and ambient electronics.
A double album of extended instrumental pieces, pressed on coloured vinyl with printed inners, poster and a die-cut gatefold sleeve, this is a fitting conclusion to one of the band's most ambitious musical journeys.
