Released: 27/11/26
Originally released in April 1996, you? me? us? is Richard Thompson’s ninth solo album and one of his most ambitious works. His second Grammy-nominated release, it was produced by Mitchell Froom and is presented in two contrasting parts: Voltage Enhanced, a full-band electric collection showcasing Thompson’s songwriting and distinctive guitar work, and Nude, a stripped-back acoustic set featuring violin and double bass. Two tracks, “Razor Dance” and “Hide It Away”, appear in different versions across both discs.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, you? me? us? receives its first double-vinyl edition, presenting both albums in their original configurations.
