Formed in Düsseldorf in 1982, German synth-pop group Propaganda signed to ZTT Records and broke through with their 1984 single “Dr. Mabuse” and debut album A Secret Wish (1985), featuring hits “Duel” and “p:Machinery.” Critically acclaimed and reaching No. 16 on the UK Albums Chart, the album led to the Outside World tour and remix release Wishful Thinking. This new box set, curated by Ian Peel, compiles the original album, rare mixes, unreleased tracks, live recordings, and a booklet chronicling Propaganda’s lasting influence.
