Originally released in 1989, The Iron Man: The Musical is Pete Townshend’s fifth studio album, adapting Ted Hughes’ story with performances by Roger Daltrey, John Lee Hooker, and Nina Simone. It features The Who’s surviving members on two tracks, including a cover of “Fire.” This black vinyl edition is half-speed mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road for superior sound.
