Penguin Cafe Orchestra, the band’s second studio album, was released in 1981 and recorded from 1977 to 1980. Featuring an expanded lineup led by Simon Jeffes, the album blends original compositions with traditional pieces like the Zimbabwean-inspired “Cutting Branches”. This edition uses the 2008 remaster and features cover art by Emily Young.
