The 50th Anniversary edition of Tubular Bells, overseen by Mike Oldfield, features a new half-speed Abbey Road master of the original album plus a second record compiling rare versions. It includes the vinyl debut of Tubular X (from a 1998 X-Files album), Mike’s remix with York of Theme From Tubular Bells, and the limited 2012 Tubular Bells/In Dulci Jubilo from the London Olympics. Also featured is a new eight-minute track, Tubular Bells 4 Intro, possibly Oldfield’s final recording.
