Microminiature Love was recorded in 1968 but remained unreleased until De Stijl Records issued a limited vinyl pressing in 2002. A landmark of outsider folk and psych-rock, Michael Yonkers’ singular sound combines garage psych, demented lyrics and acid-fried guitar with a raw, experimental approach unlike anything of its era. Later reissued on CD and vinyl by Sub Pop, the album has been out of print for years. Yonkers sadly passed away in 2026; this reissue celebrates the legacy of a truly unique and visionary artist.
