Metallica’s fifth album, known as The Black Album, marked a shift from thrash to a slower, heavier sound. Released in 1991, it was recorded amid tensions with producer Bob Rock. Featuring iconic singles like “Enter Sandman,” “The Unforgiven,” and “Nothing Else Matters,” the album propelled the band to mainstream success and remains one of their most celebrated works.
Limited edition deluxe numbered box set (with magnetic flap) includes the album remastered on 180-gram double LP and CD, 'Sad But True' picture disc, three live LPs, 14 CDs and six DVDs featuring unreleased content (live shows, rough mixes, demos, etc).
