Madlib takes the Beat Konducta series to India on Beat Konducta Vol. 3-4: In India, a two-LP set of instrumentals inspired by Bollywood soundtracks and other productions from India spanning the 1960s to the 1980s.
Originally released as separate LPs in 2007, these two volumes are brought together here in one essential edition. It is a brilliant snapshot of Madlib’s crate-digging imagination and his deep feel for rhythm, texture, and atmosphere.
Long out of print, both volumes are pressed on 2LP for the first time ever on semi-transparent silver and saffron yellow vinyl, and housed in a gatefold jacket.
