Twenty-five years after his debut, M83 (Anthony Gonzalez) returns with I Wrote You A Letter, his 10th studio album. Following 2023’s acclaimed Fantasy, the record was recorded between Los Angeles and Paris with Benoit de Villeneuve and features artwork by Australian photographer Bill Henson.
Continuing M83’s signature blend of cinematic emotion, nostalgia and expansive electronic sound, the album delivers huge atmospheres and sharp hooks while pushing the project into a fresh, modern palette.
