Buckingham Nicks, the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo, is being reissued for the first time since its 1973 release. Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Keith Olsen, the album showcased the pair’s distinct songwriting styles and harmonies across 10 tracks, including “Crystal” and “Don’t Let Me Down Again.”
In 1974, Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood heard the track “Frozen Love” at Sound City, which led to Buckingham and Nicks joining the band later that year—sparking one of its most iconic eras.
The reissue, sourced from the original analog master tapes, will be available on CD, digital formats, and several vinyl editions. Chris Bellman handled digital remastering, while Kevin Gray cut lacquers for a 180-gram Rhino High Fidelity vinyl pressing.
