Laibach and A/Political present Alamut, a new symphonic album inspired by Vladimir Bartol’s 1938 novel about Hassan-i Sabbāh, founder of the Assassins. Recorded live in a former Crusader castle with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Tehran’s Human-Voice Ensemble, and women’s choirs, the work blends Persian poetry with minimalist orchestration and Laibach’s industrial sound, exploring themes of propaganda and radical nihilism. Released as a double vinyl and CD box set via Mute.
