Few bands who dominated rock music in the 1970s managed to keep that success going into the 1980s, but with drummer Eric Carr having replaced Peter Criss at the start of the decade, and new guitarist Bruce Kulick joining in time for the Animalize World Tour of 1984-85, the retooled KISS did just that.
