Originally released in 1972, Earthbound captured the final live moments of King Crimson’s Islands-era lineup. As one of the first “official bootlegs” from a major band, it featured raw, lo-fi recordings from their U.S. tour. Though excluded from UK album charts due to its budget pricing, it topped the mid-price chart. Not released in the U.S., the album arrived just as the band dissolved and a new lineup was on the horizon.
