West London duo Kessoncoda—drummer Tom Sunney and keyboardist Fil Sowa—debut on Gondwana Records with Outerstate, a cinematic blend of acoustic tradition and electronica. Crafted in a shed studio, their sound fuses melodic piano loops, driving drums, and rich synth textures influenced by rock, ambient, breakbeat, and artists like Squarepusher and Radiohead. With contributions from Gondwana label-mate Jasmine Myra and more, the album explores themes of post-Covid dislocation and introspection.
