I Got a Name is Jim Croce’s fifth and final studio album, released posthumously on December 1, 1973. Featuring hits like “I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song” and the title track from The Last American Hero, it marked Croce’s last recordings before his tragic death in a plane crash. The album also includes “Salon and Saloon,” a piano ballad written by guitarist Maury Muehleisen, making it a heartfelt tribute and a poignant farewell from the beloved singer-songwriter.
