What Do We Do Now is J Mascis’ fifth solo LP, written during the tail end of the pandemic and recorded at his Bisquiteen Studio. While rooted in acoustic guitar, the album evolved with full drums and electric leads, giving it the feel of a full-band project. Blending introspective songwriting with Mascis' signature guitar work, it's a reflective yet dynamic addition to his rich discography outside Dinosaur Jr.
