Index For Working Musik emerged unexpectedly in late 2019, inspired by a strange bundle of found imagery and texts in a Barcelona alley. What began as a loose collaboration between Max Oscarnold and Nathalia Bruno evolved into a full band project during lockdown in a London basement. The result is Dragging the Needlework for the Kids at Uphole—a 35-minute blend of hypnotic guitars, minimal drums, found sounds, and mystic ambience. Influenced by Brian Jonestown Massacre, Velvet Underground, and TOY, it’s a lo-fi, psychedelic reflection of isolation, imagination, and self-discovery.
