James Holden’s second album, The Inheritors, blends analogue modular synths and hand-coded programs to create a 75-minute psychedelic English pagan saga. Inspired by Elgar, the KLF, folk music, and ancient rituals, Holden performs almost all parts, with guest saxophone and vocals.
