Heavy Pettin – Rock Generation marks the Scottish rockers’ first studio album since 1989, a triumphant return after three decades away.
Led by founding frontman Stephen “Hamie” Hayman, the band—Dave Aitken, Richie Dews, David Boyce, and Mick Ivory—deliver ten tracks of melodic, hard-hitting rock recorded in Glasgow and produced by Ciarán O’Shea.
Channeling the spirit of Def Leppard, Whitesnake, and Thin Lizzy, songs like “Rock Generation,” “Oblivion” (featuring Roni Lee) and “X-Rated” capture the swagger, power, and anthemic energy that made Heavy Pettin a cult favourite of the ’80s.
