Originally a sought-after vinyl LP for RSD 2021, this CD edition of Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers’ L.A.M.F. includes a bonus CD featuring 19 demo tracks from 1976-77 and singles. Packaged with a 32-page hardcover book containing notes by Simon Wright, a 2012 interview with late Walter Lure, and rare photos.
L.A.M.F.’s original 1977 release suffered from a notorious muddy mix and lost masters after Track Records folded. Now, 44 years later, the original crystal-clear master was rediscovered, allowing the album to finally be heard as the band and producers intended.
