Propeller, Guided By Voices' fifth album, was originally meant to be their last. Released in 1992 as a handmade, limited run of 500 LPs, it unexpectedly became a turning point, capturing the band’s now-iconic lo-fi sound. With the return of Tobin Sprout and standout tracks like “Over the Neptune” and “On the Tundra,” it’s a fan favourite and key release in GBV’s catalogue. Now back in print on vinyl and CD with new cover art from the original pressings.
