Emerging during the grunge era, the trio combined raw emotion with a softer singer-songwriter style, featuring Grant Lee Phillips’ mix of striking guitars and hushed vocals. More complex than their debut, the album explores themes of politics, love, and the human spirit, closing with a haunting version of Rock of Ages. This remastered edition is pressed on 180g coloured vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
