Gerry Rafferty’s fourth album, Snakes and Ladders (1980), has been newly remastered on half-speed vinyl by Miles Showell at Abbey Road for enhanced audio quality. It features tracks like "The Garden Of England," recorded at George Martin’s AIR studio, and "Johnny's Song," a remake from his former band Stealers Wheel. Known for hits like "Baker Street" and "Right Down The Line," Rafferty rose to fame with The Humblebums and Stealers Wheel before launching a successful solo career with City To City in 1978, solidifying his legacy as one of the UK’s finest songwriters and musicians.
