Originally released in 1990, Kept Between Trees is Fu Manchu’s debut 7” EP and an essential snapshot of the band’s early evolution from hardcore roots into heavy fuzz rock. Rawer and punk-leaning than their later groove-laden stoner sound, it captures a formative phase with thick riffs, DIY energy, and hints of the massive tone they’d soon perfect.
