Beggars Arkive releases a deluxe double vinyl reissue of Fields of the Nephilim’s acclaimed 1990 album Elizium, expanded with 4 bonus tracks and pressed on brick red vinyl. Recorded and produced by Pink Floyd engineer Andy Jackson, the audio is remastered via analogue transfer and mastered at Abbey Road.
Formed in 1984 by vocalist Carl McCoy, Fields of the Nephilim are a highly influential goth band known for their apocalyptic fusion of Victorian underworld and Spaghetti Western style. Elizium is considered their best work—both accessible and experimental—with standout tracks like “For Her Light” and “Sumerland,” praised for blending post-rock and dance elements.
