Fields of the Nephilim, formed in 1984 by vocalist Carl McCoy, are a highly influential band in goth, metal, and electronic music, impacting artists like Swans and Behemoth. McCoy is even dubbed the “Uncle” of black metal. Beggars Arkive is releasing a 30th anniversary vinyl reissue of their acclaimed 1990 album Elizium, remastered by Pink Floyd engineer Andy Jackson and pressed on dark green 180g vinyl.
