Fenne Lily’s second album, BREACH, is a deeply personal exploration of isolation, self-discovery, and emotional growth. Written before the pandemic during a period of self-imposed solitude, the album reflects on finding stability and peace in being alone. Raised unconventionally in the English countryside and musically influenced by her mother’s record collection, Fenne channels her introspection into diaristic, often sardonic songs. The album’s title, inspired by her breech birth, symbolizes breaking through emotional barriers and embracing solitude not as emptiness, but as self-reliance and renewal.
