Save As is the second solo album from Elena Tonra’s Ex project, produced by Fabian Prynn and featuring Josephine Stephenson on cello, Hinako Omori on synthesisers, Ben Reed on bass and Jethro Fox on electric guitar. Rather than following a single narrative, the album explores overthinking, human consciousness and the places we escape to.
Tracks such as “Radio Station” and “Sleep” blend ideas from Tonra’s demos with experimental production, while stand-out “Am I Even Real?” questions identity and authenticity within a relationship. Combining long-held ideas with improvisation, Save As balances intimacy and introspection with a sense of spontaneity.
