Friends since age six, the duo wrote and recorded most of this album at nineteen, creating a full, sonically rich sound. Their debut EP track “Two Monkeys” delivers shoegaze grit, while “Every Word Said” shines as prog-pop perfection, and the moody title track rivals Flying Saucer Attack.
Another One Making Clouds unfolds over 35 minutes, constantly surprising and elevating. Released as originally intended—no overdubs or re-recording—this album captures the raw, cinematic emotion of youth. It channels British “soul” music influences like The Cure, Echo & The Bunnymen, and early shoegaze, expressing the complex feelings of being nineteen: yearning, confusion, and the desire to be both seen and unseen.
