This collection features newly remastered versions of six Eric Clapton studio albums on 180-gram vinyl: Money and Cigarettes (1983, single LP), Behind the Sun (1985), August (1986), Journeyman (1989), From the Cradle (1994), and Pilgrim (1998) as double LPs. Behind the Sun and August are expanded to three sides to improve audio quality.
The set includes Rarities (1983-1998), with eight rare tracks, including live versions of “White Room” and “Crossroads,” and the orchestral “Theme From A Movie That Never Happened.”
All albums were mastered by Bob Ludwig, with lacquers cut by Chris Bellman. Highlights include Clapton’s hit singles like “I’ve Got A Rock ’n’ Roll Heart,” “Forever Man,” “It’s In The Way That You Use It,” “Bad Love,” and the Grammy-winning From the Cradle, a triple-platinum blues covers album. Pilgrim (1998) rounds out the collection, a Grammy-winning album featuring hits like “My Father’s Eyes” and “Born In Time.”
